Managed CAD model design, PDM/File-sharing, and integration of the 2023 competition robot. Lead part fabrication using machines like, CNC Routers/Mills, lathes, saws, etc. Became proficient in SolidWorks, PTC OnShape, Autodesk Fusion 360, Prusa Slicer, and Bambu Lab Slicer.
As Mechanical lead, I was responsible for managing the mechanical sub team of our robotics team. In this role, I ran training programs to introduce new students/members to the introductory aspects of FIRST Robotics and the basics of Mechanical Engineering.
I also began to develop an Inventory system to keep track of parts, supplies, and tools in our shop space. Although it wasn't fully successful, it was the first step taken to better manage shop inventory.
In this role, I also oversaw the development/timeline of the 2024 competition robot which competed at the 2024 FRC World Championship and ended up winning the Creativity Award for creative design.
